1) Be brave. You can look in all the magazines you like, but really, to get really brave about it you will need to ask the help of a friend. Choose someone who you have known a long time and make it someone with style. Then ask them what they can see you looking like. The more extreme the better. You don’t have to wear this look out to the supermarket or going to see the bank manager, but you should be able to wear it for your partner, otherwise why go to all this hassle?
2) Be prepared for it not to work out: this is a BIG one. You can set your expectations high, but know that getting that worldly London mistress look takes effort and patience. It might take a few goes, but when you see your partner smile at the exhilaration of seeing you new…it’ll all be worth it, trust me!
3) You don’t have to be you: think of your new look as new shoes to step into. Forget the boring side of you and let the wild side roam free. After all, a bit of fantasy never hurt anyone!
